Was you told you had to have PPI?
When you took out payment protection insurance where you told that you has to have PPI when you took out a loan or credit card? If so, there is a good chance that you may have a ppi claim as sale may be said to be unfair.
Having said that, to make a ppi claim solely on that basis may not be enough. The whole ppi claim will have to be taken into account. The cost of the ppi for instance needs to be looked at in terms of the ppi cover provided and the cost of the ppi in proportion with the loan requested.
The borrower will also need to establish if there are early penalty charges if the loan is re-paid early.
Often ppi claim result if the ppi is added to the loan, where it is costly and provides little or no cover to the borrower.
Take a look now to see if you may have been mis-sold ppi and claim back ppi now.
